We took everything we love about our muslin – the cotton gauze, the cloud-like touch, the gently crinkled texture – and made it thicker. More layers, more substance: it settles over your shoulders with a soft, reassuring weight and keeps the warmth close through long evenings of reading or films that run late into the night.

Because it is pure cotton, it breathes. You warm up without ever feeling stifled, and drift off without even noticing. And like all good cotton gauze, it grows softer wash after wash.

How does it differ from the classic?

Same cotton gauze, simply more layers: thicker, warmer, with a fuller drape across the shoulders. For spring and autumn evenings, the classic Muslin Blanket remains the better companion.

Does it get too hot underneath?

It is 100% cotton, so it breathes: it holds warmth without ever feeling stuffy, even across a full night. In a heavily heated bedroom, the classic version is the wiser choice.

Is this a weighted blanket?

No. Its weight comes from the layers of gauze alone, never from filling or glass beads. You feel a soft, enveloping drape rather than the steady pressure of a weighted blanket.

Can it go in the machine?

Yes, on a delicate cycle between 30 and 40 °C. Dry it in open air, or tumble dry on low. Ironing is unnecessary: the gently crumpled look is part of its character.
