Novelaine is a Swiss brand of cosy home textiles. We create blankets, pieces to wear and textiles for the home with a single ambition: that they rank among the softest things you have ever touched.
An obsession with softness
In Switzerland, winter takes its time. Evenings begin early, the snow muffles every sound, and you learn to make your home a refuge. The chalet after a day outdoors, the Sunday you don't leave the house, a warm cup held in both hands.
Novelaine was born from those moments. We wanted textiles to match them: enveloping without being heavy, beautiful without being fragile, and above all soft in a way you notice from the very first touch.
Choosing our materials
It all starts with touch. Cotton gauze, laid in several layers, breathes, crumples beautifully and grows softer with every wash. Thick, curly sherpa holds in the warmth on the coldest nights. Flannel adds its velvety note.
We only choose a material if it makes us never want to let it go.
