There’s that corner of the sofa you always come back to. An open book, a steaming cup, October light gliding over the fabric. Our muslin cushion cover gives that moment the texture it deserves: a light cotton double gauze with a natural crinkle that welcomes your cheek and the small of your back with the same tenderness.

Under the hand, the fabric is supple, airy, almost alive. It doesn’t shine, it doesn’t rustle; it soothes the eye as much as the touch. And it keeps its softness and shape, wash after wash.

A concealed zip disappears to let the fabric speak. Three sizes, 45 × 45, 50 × 50 and 30 × 50 cm, to dress a sofa, a reading chair or the headboard, in natural harmony with our muslin blankets.

Is the cushion pad included?

No, you receive the cover alone, sold individually. That is deliberate: you keep your existing pads and change the mood by changing the cover, rather than accumulating cushions in a cupboard.

Which pad size should I use?

Take a pad in the size of the cover: 45 × 45, 50 × 50 or 30 × 50 cm. Choosing one a centimetre or two larger gives a fuller, less slouchy result.

Is the zip visible?

No, the zip is invisible, set into the seam, so nothing interrupts the crinkled surface of the gauze. Close it before washing to protect the fabric.

Can it be machine washed?

Yes, delicate cycle at 30 °C maximum with the zip closed, then dried in open air. Ironing is unnecessary: the crinkle of double gauze is the whole character.

Does it match the Muslin Blanket?

It does: the same family of fabric, double cotton gauze here, six layers of gauze there. The texture differs a little, but on a sofa the effect is the same.

How many should I order?
