Sundays often begin the same way: no alarm, a pale light behind the curtains and the urge to take your time. The Men’s Muslin Pyjamas were designed for those hours.

Their fine cotton gauze is light without being fragile, supple without being shapeless. It lets your skin breathe all night long, ideal for mild nights from spring to the first days of autumn. The top takes its cue from the Japanese kimono: it crosses over at the front, forms a V-neck and ends in three-quarter sleeves that leave the wrists free. The long, elastic-waist trousers simply disappear.

The fabric keeps a slight natural crinkle that gives it character and, like all cotton gauze, it softens with every wash. A garment that takes on a patina with you rather than wearing out.

For peaceful nights, mornings of newspaper and black coffee, and afternoons spent doing nothing in particular. Simple, just right, and comfortable without the slightest effort.

Measured by hand, so allow for a 1–3 cm difference.

Can it be worn in winter?

Winter is not its season: the fine cotton gauze is made for spring, summer and mild autumn nights. In winter it suits a well heated bedroom above all.

Should I take M or L?

The measurements are generous: 110 cm around the chest in M, 120 cm in L, for a deliberately roomy cut. Compare them with a top you like to wear loose rather than your usual size.

Why three-quarter sleeves?

They belong to the Japanese cut it draws on: the top crosses into a V and the sleeves stop at the forearm. Easy for reading, cooking or morning coffee, with nothing to roll up.

Is the fabric soft?

The fine cotton gauze feels supple and airy from the first night and softens further with every wash. It lets air move and does not cling on milder nights.

How do I care for it?

A delicate wash at 30 °C maximum, inside out, then dried in open air. No ironing: light creasing belongs to gauze, and much of it relaxes as you wear it.
